Whirlfloc improves the separation of wort suspended solids to improve wort/beer clarity and stability by removing proteins and gums allowing for a reduced requirement for beer stabilisation and filter treatments.

Whirlfloc tablets is a blend of Irish Moss and purified Kappa carrageenan that encourages the precipitation of haze causing materials such as proteins and Beta glucans to fall out of suspension. Prepared in a quick dissolving, highly soluble tablet form. Almost everyone who tries Whirlfloc tablets prefer them to regular Irish Moss.
Add for the final 15 minutes of the boil.
Note: One Whirlfloc tablet is good for up to 35L of wort.
