Schwarzbier (black Lager), is a dark lager that originated in Germany. It has an opaque, black colour with hints of chocolate or coffee flavours, and is generally around 5% ABV. It is however a Lager and should ideally be lagered. This is an award winning beer recipe that is easy drinking with hints of Coffee and chocolate.
